Over time, the Wolves of Ashearea have come to follow a certain set of 'rules,' and any individual found to disobey these laws, be the pack wolves or loners, would, at a minimum, spend their life shunned and chased away, and most likely hunted by everybody. Their lives would become a living hell, and the simple concept of staying in one place for more than a day would become a life-threatening decision.
These rules are fairly simple, and not at all hard to understand.
One must never attack another wolf's Sential without a given reason. To do so is the lowest of lows, and this allows the master of said Sential to attack. Such fights usually end in one wolf being killed.
If there is bad blood between two groups, a pack may choose to willingly surrender one of their lower ranked wolves to the opposing family. These wolves are often traitors, or individuals who have upset their Alphas deeply, and would have no say as to what happens to them when sold to another pack. A body for a body. A life for a life. That sort of deal.
Ultimately, a pack may decide to give up one of their pups, in a sort of 'truce' offering. These pups are often the offspring of an omega, or raped wolf, and would most likely end up being killed, or trained to defend the opposing pack.
The ranks of the actual pack strengths define whether or not that pack has a say in the way the Island is run. Aspa Typically, are at the top of the chart, with Thala at the very bottom. This means that if the packs were to ever have to unite, the Aspa wolves would assume the highest ranks, with the Thala wolves adopting the lowest ranks.
The only real 'fantasy' aspect of the Island is the fact that the wolves are protected by their Revered Sentials . Other than that, the life of the wolves you roleplay must remain realistic, aside from them being able to talk to one another in English, and the idea that they may be able to find guidance from their ancestors in the sky.
